Studio Bastet is a bohemian fusion bellydance studio in the most beautiful part of old Helsinki, hosted by dance artist Laura Luna.
As a performer Laura Luna is a captivating storyteller, known for her precise musicality, seamless flow and enchanting presence. Her specialities include playing zills and dancing with sword. She is available for gig bookings, solo or with Studio Bastet showgroup.
As one of the pioneers of Tribal Fusion in Finland, she has been teaching regular classes since 2011 and is also a certified Datura Style(tm) teacher. Her students describe her as an inspiring teacher with clear instructions and killer playlists! She teaches most classes at Studio Bastet and her unique handmade jewelry and hair ornaments can also be bought there.

The weekly schedule at the moment includes three different levels of Tribal Fusion Bellydance from beginners to advanced dancers, technique and choreography classes and a performing group, plus a Datura Style improvisation group that is also geared towards performances. All classes are taught in Finnish unless stated otherwise, but if need be the teacher also speaks fluent English.
Besides weekly classes the studio offers shorter intensives and themed workshops, sometimes with visiting teachers!
Registrations are binding and class fees are not refunded or cancelled unless the student can provide a medical certificate for a sick leave lasting over half of the season. The season fee can be paid in maximum of 4 parts.
